Discovering My Essence Through Scent
Scent no 3 representing Unity of Opposites.
Shosh Mannix was first to reveal a method that divides humanity into eleven central frequencies. She does this by essentially what is a sniff test, where by the smell that resonates with you most determines your frequency. Being a curious projector, I gave it a go.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT
Our unique inner essence dictates to us from the day we are born how we perceive the world and interact with it. It shows us how we function when we are in the balance with it, and also what are our shadow aspects. In other words why we sometimes behave in a more-for-us-detrimental way.
UNITY OF OPPOSITES
After few rounds of shortlisting the fragrances, I landed on number 3, the Unity of Opposites.
CREATING HARMONY
Essentially carrying inside characteristics of all of the other Frequencies, I can see myself in everyone else and thus speak their language and create harmony. This also means others feel comfortable opening up to me, not only because I see I understand them but also because I can make them feel calm and safe.
SELF-DEVELOPMENT & CONNECTION WITH PEOPLE
Helping people see parts of themselves they are not aware of and see their talent, and support them in their development - just as I am in need of constant development is what brings the best in me.
SHADOW 1 - EXTREME INDECISIVENES
When not in my best, I tend to jump from one thing to the next and am unable to follow through, experiencing great deal of uncertainty and confusion, not being able to see the inner truth.
SHADOW 2 - PLEASING OTHERS
The need to create unity and peace may mean being too eager to please others, and doing what is expected of me by others instead of what is good for me.
WHAT TO WORK ON
After reflecting on the shadows, I decided to focus on 1. Working on a willingness to pay the price for being who I truly am, and not who I think I am supposed to be and 2. Working on my courage and determination to push through my own projects.
A SIGN? :)
Looking at the symbol for Unity of Opposites I could help to smile seeing the middle of the wheel. It reminds me a lot of the logo I created for FewGoodMen, reflecting the movement or circulation of the new positive energy.
